Assistant Store Manager

Reports To: Store Director

The assistant store manager is a critical player on our growing team. This role is a leader in the store, setting an example, motivating, training, and working with products. This is a full-time position during regular retail hours, Saturdays and Sundays included.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal/written communication and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with direction from manager
• Self-starter is a big plus!
• Familiarity with Shopify or ability to quickly learn new POS and other software to process transactions and aid in operations
• Ability to teach and train others on Shopify
• Strong customer service skills
• Developed interpersonal business relationship management skills and professional demeanor
• Visual merchandising skills

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Managing and training personnel and schedules. Handling calls outs, and replacement personnel
• Teach and train others on Shopify, being on site POS and systems expert
• Providing top notch customer service and increasing sales with direct customer interaction
• Ensuring tidy and clean store and merchandise within the store
• Delegating tasks to store team members
• Training new team members. Including Training on opening and closing
• Support store events
• Receiving and pricing weekly deliveries/inventory
• Organizing and keeping up with back of house inventory daily duties
