Visual Operations Manager

Responsibilities

This role is the analytical/operations partner to the Visual Merchandising Director and helps proactively manage visual merchandising timelines and deliverables across brand’s retail, wholesale and e-commerce operations.

Retail Visual Operations

• Support Chief Merchandising Officer and Visual Merchandising Director to align retail visual goals to seasonal promotions and sales goals.
• Seasonal Merchandising Guide Development
• Drive quarterly deadlines to create/update and distribute guide across retail leadership.
• Manage in-store merchandising education calendar, including supporting in-store staff education events and engaging with retail staff about best practices.
• Interest in and ability to learn and promote retail merchandising best practices
• Occasional merchandising support in-store ideal but not required.

Wholesale Visual Operations

• Work with Visual Merchandising Director to strategize execution of showroom design concepts in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas. (**Travel to these sites 2x year required**)
• Work with Visual Merchandising Director and Design Director and design team to set and proactively manage prop fabrication timelines.
• Support Chief Strategy Officer, design team and Visual Merchandising Director to align merchandising goals to seasonal promotions and sales goals.
• Proactively communicate with showroom managers.
• Source and/or manage specialty vendors that support showroom installation
• Contract Talent Operations
• Source contract labor pool for showroom installations
• Cultivate relationships with contract talent throughout the year, updating them on the brand’s growth and keeping them engaged
• Manage contract labor contracts, compensation, travel, and accommodations
• Interest in and ability to learn and promote showroom merchandising best practices
• Merchandising support in-showroom ideal but not required.
• Seasonal Wholesale Merchandising Guide Development
• Drive quarterly deadlines to create/update and distribute guide to wholesale accounts.

Online Retail & Wholesale Catalog Visual Operations

• Work with Visual Merchandising Director and Staff Photographer to set and adhere to product photography schedule.
• Plan and provide logistics support for seasonal specialty photoshoots, including off-site photo shoots, brand partnerships & influencer collaborations
• Interest in and ability to learn and promote photography styling best practices
• Occasional photography styling support ideal but not required.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in creative/visual operations management
• Personable and kind under pressure.
• Able to manage and influence different creative and business stakeholders
• Able to effectively manage and track multiple deadlines and deliverables at once.
• Able to proactively anticipate barriers to meeting deadlines--and resolve them.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience leading and organizing creative production teams a must.

Travel required up to 6 weeks/year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
