Hester Window Coverings is seeking an experienced and organized Office Administrator to join our team in Kerrville, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring that all administrative duties are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all administrative functions of the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Use of Quickbooks for estimates, invoices & accounts receivable.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are always in good working order and fully stocked.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments.
- Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail/orders, including packages and deliveries.
- Develop and maintain filing systems, both paper and electronic, ensuring that all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to help customers in the selection of window covering products. Assisting in the design process by using the appropriate and creative tools to help customers visualize products, colors, fabrics or final projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Quickbooks, Outlook and general computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Coordinate with other team members to complete projects as scheduled.
- Ensure that all project documents are properly completed and filed.
- Other duties as assigned.
