Server Description

Heston Supper Club is looking to add a member to our service team!
Applicant should have basic bar and serving experience.

Server Job Responsibilities:

• Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
• Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
• Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining nightly features, and answering food preparation questions.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Basic knowledge of a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests’ choices from bar and kitchen.
• Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs along with the assistance of the bussers.
• Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return.
• Presents guest check to the patron. Provides correct change to the guest if needed. Collect payments for checks and at the end of the night turns in all monies due to the bar.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Physical Setting:

• Fine dining restaurant

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• La Porte, IN 46350: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
