***PORTER TO MAIN LINE TECHNICIAN IN LESS THAN 3 YEARS***
Hewlett Volkswagen in Georgetown, Texas is currently accepting applications for an ambitious and eager person to start as a Porter. We are looking for someone who has the desire and drive to learn and grow into a Lube Tech position and eventually into the main shop as a Service Technician. This is a great opportunity for the person who wants to learn and start a great career with a great dealership. The right candidate must be focused self-motivated and hard working with excellent verbal skills and work ethics. Experience is a plus but will train the right candidate.
Automotive Service Porter Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly manner.
- Drive courtesy shuttle for our Service Customers.
- Move vehicles from the service lane to the service parking lot.
- Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
- Retrieve customer vehicles from the lot.
- Wash Vehicles
- Other duties may be assigned
- Potential to transition to Technician role with training
Automotive Service Porter Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be friendly and courteous
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Positive attitude
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
