We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst based out of our Lincoln, NE facility.
Overview
Become the site subject matter expert on our ERP system and lead key software and training initiatives in conjunction with IT. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to take ownership of their responsibilities and independently drive projects to completion.
Responsibilities
- Become subject matter expert on ERP system (IFS Applications) for the Lincoln site.
- Support of existing ERP system to ensure proper function and support end user issues.
- Support process improvement and workflows within ERP system, including warehouse management, order entry, order fulfillment, and warranty tracking.
- Perform special analysis as needed and present recommendations to leadership.
- Lead key software, database, and other integration projects, in conjunction with the IT department
- Develop training content and train users when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and drive to create solutions.
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to analyze and extract trends from data.
- Expert with MS Excel
- SQL or PL/SQL experience desired
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude in a challenging work environment
- Desire to learn and grow with the business.
Credentials and Experience
- Bachelor’s or associate Degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in data analysis, ERP, finance, IT, or similar field
- Experience in the automotive industry is plus.
- Experience with IFS ERP, preferably Apps 10 or above required.
- Experience with MS Office 365, especially SharePoint and Teams
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.
