Your organizational skills will help expedite purchasing, track budgets, service contracts, and organize travel and team events. This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air. Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand AutonomouStuff.
The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Morton, IL or Calgary, AB. A hybrid work environment is offered once training is completed.
Responsibilities
As Project Coordinator, you will:
- Maintain and update project management tools and prepare dashboards and summaries of project data, metrics, and status to support stakeholder communication and project reports.
- Ensure project data is up-to-date, consistent, accurate, and overseen to the granularity required by the project
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, costs, and current spend to forecast.
- Create meeting minutes and action registers to help organize the work of the project team and follow up on action items
- Assist Project Managers with preparing budgets, forecasts, managing scope, risk, and contract changes
- Support Project Managers throughout the project life cycle including project set-up, monitoring and controlling, and project close-out
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional development teams to ensure project success
- Build an effective Method of Operations to ensure data, metrics and reporting remains compliant to the Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning Project Management process
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, or business. Related work experience will be considered in lieu. New graduates are welcome to apply.
- 2 years of experience in a product development or project management environment
- Experience with Jira for work management, including dashboarding, metrics, and advanced queries
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Proficient in Excel

- BSc. in Engineering or Computer Science
- Purchasing background
- Administrative experience
- Training in Project Management and/or PowerBI
