Supply Chain Manager
Our Supply Chain team is responsible for creating and implementing world class systems, processes and initiatives for material planning, procurement, and inventory management. As an integral part of a global Operations team that is known for its best practices and commitment to continuous improvement, Antcom's Supply Chain Manager (SCM) will report to the site Operations Manager and is responsible for providing leadership to procurement, materials, and shipping teams. Utilizing strong background with supply chain processes and successful execution of initiatives, the SCM will coordinate activities with external manufacturing partners to ensure material availability and quality. This hands-on position includes optimizing the MRP system; identifying and qualifying new suppliers; and coordinating day to day management of material.
In this critical role, the SCM will lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within our high technology electronics manufacturing environment.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Torrance, California.
Responsibilities
As Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals responsible for tactical execution and management of materials, vendors, inventory, and shipment of goods.
- Enhance processes to drive department KPI performance ((On-time delivery, product lead time, product quality, product cost, inventory levels, shipment targets, NPI material targets, etc.)
- Coordinate activities to minimize production downtime (i.e. inventory shortage, insufficient planning or forecast, market fluctuations, etc.)
- Deliver effective sourcing of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price while maintaining delivery flexibility.
- Guide supplier management efforts to reduce lead-times through process development and negotiations.
- Develop suppliers to ensure perfect quality of materials and on-time delivery of goods.
- Proactively manage inventory based on sales and engineering forecast.
- Initiate and manage lean initiatives to drive out process waste within the department’s entire value stream.
- Implement Kanban systems where appropriate.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and minimize excess and obsolete material.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - ideally in fields of Operations, Business, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain experience with at least 2 years at a managerial level
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to mentor and develop employees
- Demonstrated Continuous Improvement skills
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to travel to visit domestic and international suppliers. Travel may be required up to 10% annually.

Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working in aerospace and/or electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience using Syteline ERP software
- Continuous Improvement certification (i.e. Lean Six-Sigma, Black Belt, Green Belt, Lean Bronze, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of vendor managed inventory (VMI)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) accreditation or other professional designation
- Experience using MS Project and Visio

Compensation & Benefits
Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range or offer other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state or federal law. Our benefits and bonus plans are reviewed annually and are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
Hiring Salary Range: $101,300 - $162,000 USD per annum
Bonus Eligibility: We offer a company profit share and individual incentive-based bonus programs.
