Job Description :
The successful candidate will manage the current ongoing MA21 legacy development efforts through development, Integration testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Production deployment. Coordinating these release efforts of the MA21 cloud rehosting project will enable the successful migration of the MA21 legacy mainframe system as a key strategic step toward the future One Health initiative.
DETAILED LIST OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·
Collaborate with the MA21 Functional Manager to understand MA21's monthly release schedule and various development life cycles (monthly release cycle, expedited resolution, emergency fixes.)
Collaborate with the MA21 Functional Manager to understand M21 deliverables to support each development life cycle.
Release scoping and coordinate priority changes and adjust release scoping.
Collaborate with the MA21 Functional Manager MA21 technical staff to identify cross-system/cross-team release dependencies.
Collaborate with the MA21 Functional Manager to coordinate priority changes and adjust release scoping.
Collaborate with external teams to coordinate environment and functional readiness for release testing.
Collaborate with the MA21 technical team members to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Collaborating with the unified quality assurance team lead ensuring release deliverables are completed on time.
Monitor and manage the uploading of deliverable documents to the appropriate network repositories.
Collaborate with the MA21 technical team and unified quality assurance team to ensure Production deployment requirements are clearly documented and communicated to all responsible Stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Cloud Rehosting Project Manager and Cloud Rehosting Technical Manager to understand the convergence of MA21 ongoing release work, as well as Cloud Rehosting release demands.
Monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, and associated technical specifications.
Develop proactive adjustments when established timelines are at risk.
Communicate early and often to ensure MA21 and MassHealth Leadership are aware of any risk to established timelines.
Create and distribute weekly executive release reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with health care eligibility systems.
Knowledge of MA HIX or other State Health Exchange.
Ability to work with multiple vendors.
Strong organizational skills, problem-solving aptitude, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work well with others in a fast fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow-through skills.
Must be able to work collaboratively, collegially, and cooperatively with others in an environment where deliverables are potentially dependent on the output of others.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of (5) five years of extensive experience with project management as the release manager of a large-scale application.
Minimum of (3) years of experience as the release manager of a cloud migration project or projects.
