Job Description:
I. Job Summary/Responsibilities
" Prepares and performs a variety of CT procedures.
" Provides patient care during procedures.
Ii. Typical Physical Demands
" Essential: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.
" Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.
" Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
" Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body.
" Operates CT scanner, injectors, interventional equipment, CT display consoles, computer, telephone, printer.
Iii. Typical Working Conditions
" Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
" Exposed to communicable diseases.
Iv. Minimum Qualifications
" Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
" Current BLS/HCP certification.
OR
" One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.
" CT experience preferred.
" Experience to demonstrate:

- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
" Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).

" CT experience preferred.
" Experience to demonstrate:
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.
