Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff
- Ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Oversee the administration of medications and treatments
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient care situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care
Skills:
- Proficient in tube feeding techniques and procedures
- Strong nurse management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Experience in case management, coordinating care across multiple disciplines
- Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health records systems
- Competency in taking vital signs and interpreting their significance
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care
- Understanding of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Experience administering injections and performing gastric lavage
