This is an hourly position and will be 20 hours / week in Q1 and may increase to 25-40 hours / week in Q2 2024.

The Marketing and Events Coordinator (MC) position is an in-office position based in downtown Chicago (Bucktown / Lincoln Park).

The role may become hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) after 90 days, by mutual agreement of the candidate and the Owner.

The Marketing Events Coordinator's primary focus is to build brand awareness and generate leads for Heyday Homes and Heyday Collective through social media, events, brand partnerships and community engagement.

They will be expected to use their creativity and problem-solving skills to execute the marketing strategy of the company through social media, YouTube, print magazines, email newsletters and events.

They have strong writing and communication skills and the ability to leverage various platforms and tools to make sure the marketing is done consistently and aligned with the brand's identity.

This person is fluent in technology. They understand how to navigate multiple operating systems and can self-solve and educate on new programs that they may be tasked with.

Recognizing that building strong relationships with agents and clients is key to the team's success, they consistently prioritize customer service and strive to be helpful in every interaction.

Their dedication to serving others reinforces the team's reputation as a dependable and trustworthy partner in the industry.

The ideal candidate will work well with minimal supervision, gradually taking on more responsibility and leadership, including : assisting in hiring, training and leading / overseeing additional team members.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to engage the Heyday Homes and Heyday Collective communities, drive attendance at Heyday Collective events, register in courses and increase real estate sales for Heyday Homes.

The primary responsibilities will include :

  • Executing Marketing Strategies : Collaborate with Owner and marketing partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and execute an annual marketing plan including frequent in-person events and seminars, quarterly print magazines, ongoing drip campaigns, team website / blog, YouTube videos, Instagram posts reels, monthly direct mail campaigns, weekly email newsletters and daily social media highlighting the team, brand partners, team listings and community
  • Event Planning : Collaborate with brand partners and sponsors to plan and execute all aspects of 5-6 in-person events a month
  • Graphic Design : Create and produce all marketing materials for a variety of stakeholders, including listing brochures, social media content, email newsletters and event invitations, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry regulations and Keller Williams policies
  • Strategic Brand Partnerships : Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as local businesses, media partners, sponsors, community organizations, and influencers, to maximize brand exposure and drive collaborative marketing initiatives
  • Community Engagement : Create and manage a membership / ambassador program through the creation of user-generated content, client stories, testimonials, and referrals
  • Social Media Ads Management : Manage social editorial calendar and lead publishing of all social media content to connect with target audiences;

build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers and high-reach fans on social media channels; develop and monitor Google and Meta Ad campaigns to drive targeted traffic and generate leads for the business

Data Management and Analytics : Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify target markets, customer preferences, and emerging trends;

monitor and analyze key marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, program registrations, social media engagement, and customer feedback, and provide regular reports to management to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions

  • Process Optimization : Evaluate and enhance existing marketing processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and ROI. Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined workflows
  • Technology Management : Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure CRM systems are efficiently utilized, integrated, and updated to enhance their potential for marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • Must be driven with strong communication and project management skills
  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field required
  • Candidate should have their finger on the pulse of the current marketing landscape
  • 2 or more years of experience in an ad agency environment or related environment
  • Strong understanding of web and email systems, public relations, brand messaging, and social platforms
