What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Assistant position at HeyTutor?
HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in Chula Vista and we're looking to hire tutors who can assist middle and/or high school students before and after regular school hours. You will be working with students of all ages between 6th-12th grade. You must be available Monday-Friday and the pay ranges between $22-$27 per hour depending on your experience. Being bilingual is not required but it is a plus!

JOB INFORMATION:
You'll be actively supervising students as you help them catch up from learning gaps developed over the past school year.
You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check.

SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday. 5 hours per day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be comfortable tutoring: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Statistics,
- Tutoring experience (great at working with kids)
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- High level math experience
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or weekly testing
- Negative TB test result
PAY: $25-$30 per hour (Pay depends on experience and is determined at the time of the interview)
