What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Commercial Analyst position at HH Global?
Purpose of the job
The Trainee Commercial Analyst will work within the existing Consulting & Analytics team and provide administrative support for all the services currently delivered by the team to the wider HH business. The main focus will be helping build the foundations of data analysis of historic print purchases across the EMEA region to support the build and design of framework pricing agreements (rate cards) with suppliers and assisting on pricing opportunities for new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist building RFP documents.
- Assist the Commercial Analyst in sending RFP Documents out to quote/tender with our supply chain and analysing responses.
- Working with the Strategic Sourcing team to build project trackers then manage those trackers throughout the lifespan of the project.
- Basic analysis of data sets of procured products / services (trend, product specifications, order patterns, etc).
- File preparation for reports.
- Undertake other projects where necessary to develop and provide in depth analysis.
Knowledge, Skills Experience
- Good basic IT skills, primarily Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, data manipulation) are highly beneficial but training will be provided where necessary.
- A confident communicator able to hold their own with a variety of project stakeholders.
- Good presentation skills would be advantageous.
- A focussed, process driven individual with a high degree of accuracy.
- The ability to work independently when reviewing data but also confident working closely with various teams across the business under the guidance of the Commercial Analyst.
