MEDIA DESIGNER
Reporting to the US Art Director, the Graphic (Media) Designer is responsible for executing multi-channel, print and digital concepts and designs for regional and global HH Global clients.
We are looking for an exceptional visual storyteller who can transform research and campaign performance data into a beautiful, coherent, compelling and creative narrative for our clients. A passion for both print and digital marketing is a must. An ability to pull insights from data and present it in a way that resonates with our clients through infographics, logos, and campaign collateral is going to be the thing that really sets you apart. This will be a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA. This role will be required to be on-site 1-2 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute creative digital solutions to meet the client’s needs, in line with their overall marketing strategy including video editing, digital campaigns, concepting, motion graphics / moving content.
- Work alongside the US Art Director and cross-functional teams to monitor their own executions for quality, content and effectiveness to ensure the design creative is innovative and fresh in line with the regional client’s visual identity guidelines.
- Mentor and lead Graphic Design and Production Artists on projects.
- Manage end-to-end projects (the full project lifecycle -- from brief and design to production).
- Able to clearly articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to internal and external teams -- present to clients or stakeholders on occasion.
- Support in design of print and digital sales and marketing materials including: product packaging, product brochures, logos, promotional flyers, catalogs, point-of-sale materials, sales presentation tools, direct mail pieces, trade show graphics and more.
REQUIREMENTS
- Highly skilled in the latest Adobe CC Suite.
- Proficient in mainly After Effects, Google Slides, Premiere, Adobe XD.
- Proven work experience as a multidisciplinary designer in an agency environment (4 years experience in relevant fields).
- Experience leading a team of designers and collaborating with multiple creatives.
- Understanding of design conventions for print and digital a MUST.
- Be able to concept / design from scratch and do artwork adaptations.
- Design skills in digital media outputs across all platforms -- including how to create and output animated gifs, email campaigns, blog images, press releases, static / animated banners and application components to be consistent with the overall campaign.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet defined deadlines while collaborating with other designers.
- Excellent attention to detail and grammatical skills.
- Deep understanding of design functions -- typography, layout, color theory, photography, and copy.
- Aware of design trends, undertaking appropriate research when required, thus ensuring HH client’s creative is innovative and appropriate for their regional audience.
- Able to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment simultaneously contributing to multiple projects -- each with aggressive development schedules.
- Portfolio available online that showcases visual and technical solutions across multiple design verticals.
- Willingness to learn new software and execute new client projects outside of scope/capabilities.
- Understanding of UI/UX design and execution.
- Understanding of responsive design, social media outputs, and digital reformatting.
- Skilled in storyboarding 2D animation.
- Capabilities in motion graphics and video editing.
