We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee our billing operations and ensure timely and accurate claims billing for customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, prior experience with managing a billing function for Medicaid claims, and the ability to drive process improvements. The Revenue Cycle Manager will create and maintain billing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.

\n- Oversee the billing services process and ensure accurate and timely billing and claims management of Cashe Software customers.
- Manage a team of billing specialists and provide leadership and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure that all billing specialists are using consistent process, reporting, and steps to complete assigned tasks.
- Keep apprised of upcoming payor related changes that impact successful transmission of claims, such as payor ID changes, and communicate changes to internal teams for systems changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
- Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators to maintain oversight and management of billing department and individual biller workload.
- Regularly review account status with billing services customers to ensure that all expectations, commitments and requirements are being met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations and that billing process is optimized with current system capabilities.
- Respond to billing inquiries and resolve billing issues as needed.
- Prepare and present billing reports to senior management.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.
- Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and/or claims management
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, including at least 2 years prior experience managing a team of billing specialists
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proven experience in process improvement and standardizing billing operations
- Familiarity and prior experience with Medicaid claims billing and MCO billing through Clearinghouses for MN Home & Community Based Services is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Medicaid claims billing
- Experience with Medicaid billing in various states outside of MN a plus
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $80,000-$100,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
