Job Summary:
The Director reports directly to the VP Operations. The Director will partner with the local CM and PM teams and executive staff to provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the Company has the proper operational controls, administrative, and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The Director will work closely with the individual market PMs and executive leadership to establish and lead the strategic operational plan and ensure the company continues to provide exceptional services to customers. As a partnering principal motivator of change, the Director should be a dynamic leader who is energetic and passionate.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Drive the Division to achieve sales, profitability, business goals and objectives.
- Ensure measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes; provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Division
- Implement policies, objectives, oractivities of the Division to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Provide regular reports and analysis of financial, operational, team performance and industry trend metrics to executive team.
- Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes.
- Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
- Accomplish staff results by motivating and leading a high-performance management team: communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and measuring job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.
· Maintain a safe, engaging, creative and professionally rewarding work environment; provides personal growth opportunities for staff.
· Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Company.
· Hold monthly or quarterly one-on-one meetings with department managers to establish and review progress of goals and objectives (including continuous training) and hold accountable.
· Serve as the primary escalation point for all problems that arise within the region.

· Performs other duties as assigned and directed.
· Must be willing to work flexible hours and/or weekends, as needed, to meet deadlines or to fulfill travel obligations.

Physical and Environmental Elements:
Physical demands: Ability to sit continuously for over 2/3 of normal work shift. Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch on a regular basis. Ability to talk and to hear continuously. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 2/3 of the normal work shift.
Vision: Ability to see at close range (20 inches or less), at a distance (clear vision at 20 feet or more), ability to identify and distinguish colors, ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
Work Environment: Employees work in an office environment. Noise levels are moderate (such as computers and printers) and temperature conditions are usually controlled.
Travel: Some local travel by car may be required to customer sites in Southern California.
