Looking to hire a sales associate for new pet food and supply store in Yucca Valley. This is a weekend job! 10:00am-6:00pm Saturdays & Sundays. Please don't apply if you aren't available on weekends! Thank you! Can be flexible of course.
Willing to train the right person but looking for someone with some dog and cat knowledge, with retail experience. Other responsibilities below!

Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in day-to-day operations and management of the store
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring products are well-stocked and organized
- Handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive sales
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Previous experience in sales role preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and customer service best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues or operational challenges
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
