What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Office Assistant position at HI TECH UTILITY CONSTRUCTION?
Responsibilities
- Assist with project coordination with all levels of management
- Assist and coordinate crew locations
- Maintain a tracking log of project progression
- Assist in general contractor coordination
- Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail
- Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
- Welcoming visitors to your office
- Answering phone calls
- Taking and delivering messages
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly
- Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees
- Complies will all construction safety standards and is aware of safe work practices, follows all established safety rules and procedures with all legal regulations.
- Has a solid grasp of complex mathematical concepts, and basic math functions and calculations.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project required
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- English fluency (Bilingual Spanish is a plus).
- Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience.
- High School diploma required
