Purpose of the position
A broad range of responsibilities encompassing financial reporting and systems management, which are directly related to the successful operation of the business unit.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Localization of standard costs
- Daily Invoicing
- Calculate / review costings for equipment and manufactured parts
- Cost analysis reports
- Steel surcharge analysis report
- Provide monthly Hoist GM report
- Yearly standard cost review / analysis / upload new standards to LN
- LN / SAP reconciliation
- Quarterly LN testing
- Assist Operations Business Controller with close process; provide audits as requested/required/ assist outside tax/accounting/audit firms with necessary financial information
- Daily, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
- Assist Operations Business Controller with special projects as required
- Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Accounting or Finance degree a plus but not required
Working experience:
- 5-7 years experience in accounting; General Ledger, budgeting and/or forecasting a plus
- Manufacturing accounting and costing experience
- ERP experience
Competence and skills:
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of SAP and/or LN desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Sheets
- Data handling and analysis
- Organized and attention to detail
- Cross functional team player
- Comfortable in fast paced, multi-product manufacturing environment
