The purpose of the Product Manager is to provide best in class customer experience by delivering differentiated solutions, including market
leading product and data-driven services, throughout the product lifecycle with market leading offerings supporting our customers & organization; to implement Effer product strategy in order to deliver profitable growth through differentiated customer experience and performance across the lifecycle, supporting sales and service; and to drive Effer product support and oversight of quality requirements.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Drive and support sales, growth and profitability for defined market and products in line with budget and
- Provide Technical Support to our customers and organization
- Lead and execute customer requirements for product documentation, warranty and training
- Understand the market situation (adapt current offering to local markets)
- Deliver market intelligence: trends/needs, product performance & competitive offering
- Deliver customer intelligence
- Handle majority of local product related questions
- Take major role in launching of new products and options/features
- Organize / give product training on area level
- Fast reactions to customer requests and demands
- Identify focus segments supporting local sales strategy
- Participate in product councils and give input to PLC and NPD work
- Deliver customer feedback and insights to services
- Participate in sales planning and business reviews with sales
- Support Global Product managers in cost analysis (cost development, fixed costs vs direct costs, FL vs BL vs
- Administration of product data in configurator and sales tools
What you’ll need to succeed
- Technical and/or Business Degree
- 5 years in similar role, or
- 5 years technical sales experience, or
- 5 years engineering experience
- Good technical understanding of product & application
- Strong Commercial, strategic and Influencing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Cross functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a Matrix structure in ambiguity (self lead)
- Strong ability to influence
- Customer centric mindset
- Organized
