About the Role:
- Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Plant Operations, CEO, and Corporate Maintenance Director, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean environment and overseeing all facility housekeeping tasks.
- The Housekeeper leads the sanitary members of the administrative team, assuring cleanliness in all public areas and patients’ rooms.

Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma preferred,
- Related experience or training preferred
- Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check, satisfactory personal & professional references
- Basic computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Ability to read & write, comprehend the English language- Simple instructions, short correspondence, & memos
- Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients
- Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, provide patient-driven customer service, and exercise time management skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, accuracy, attention to detail, & thoroughness are all essential to this role.
- Schedule flexibility, holiday, and weekend rotation is REQUIRED.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows procedures for cleaning a terminal room
- Follows procedures for cleaning an occupied room
- Adheres to facility cleaning schedule
- Adheres to special cleaning projects schedule
- Safeguards chemicals from clients while in use and stored
- Follows procedures for hazardous waste cleanup and disposal
- Empties waste containers and transports trash from building to dumpster
- Replenishes paper towels and toilet paper
- Demonstrates proper body mechanics and applicable health safety measures
- Requisitions supplies to avoid running out
- Follows procedures for cleaning toilet and bathing facilities
- Follow procedures for cleaning meeting rooms and common areas
- knows location of Safety Data Sheets
- Ensures chemicals are labeled and in assigned dispensers and containers
- Launders linens daily and maintains an ample amount of clean linens for client use
- Cleans housekeeping carts and equipment after each use
- Keeps linen, janitor, and supply closets clean and orderly
- Respects HIPAA confidentiality when cleaning offices and client information areas
- Operated all equipment in a safe manner
- Participated in performance improvement activities
- Reports safety hazards to supervisor and or Executive Director
- Performs appropriate hand hygiene throughout the shift
- Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately
Compensation: $14-$16/hr
Salary : $14 - $16
