Maintenance Supervisor - Hickory Treatment Center at Albion

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide excellent customer service by making building maintenance repairs as well as providing the general upkeep of the facility including its grounds, streets, and equipment. This fulfilling position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts and/or directs the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the electrical, mechanical & related systems of the Facility as well as the building structures and Facility grounds.
• Advises leadership of any inspections required by State, Federal and local laws and inspections/repairs that are beyond the scope of the Facility Maintenance Department where an outside resource will be needed for completion. 
• Maintain specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices and air systems.
• Read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.  
• Additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Have basic computer skills and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• General knowledge of the use of power and hand tools is imperative.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $22-24/ hour
