Position Summary:

The System Analyst position requires strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and modifying systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems. It serves as the primary contact for system problem resolution for all users. The incumbent will also be responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants.

This position requires a working knowledge of web and client-server concepts and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Serve as primary contact for system issue identification, evaluation, and resolution.
* Support the RCC fuel distribution system through table and system maintenance, new user setup, update testing and roll out, and all other aspects of system support.
* Work in conjunction with external system vendors and internal IT technical teams to implement and update system functionality for new service packs and hot fixes.
* Complete User Access review of associated systems and end users.
* Troubleshoot technical issues with the support of internal staff and third-party vendors and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
* Provide assistance and guidance to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
* Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new and existing technology.
* Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc. Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications.
* Co-ordinate the Change management process for the RCC application, collecting user requests and prioritize using the prioritization matrix.
* Log change requests, agree priority and delivery timescales with RCC.
* Attend weekly calls and 'monthly' review to track the progress of change requests and fixes.
* Review RCC monthly support invoices and ensure accuracy and work with the vendor on discrepancy resolution.
* Support database and data integrity (working closely with the data governance manager) and identify opportunities for business efficiency.
* Communicate in relevant, timely and effective manner consistent with SOPs, cultural and customer service objectives.
* Deliver tasks and projects on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with vendors and manage associate relationships to ensure adherence to service and product deliverables.
* Regular attendance at the worksite is required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

* Must be dependable with a stable work history.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as the need for off-hour support arises.
* Strong knowledge of installing and configuring systems applications.
* Must possess a professional maturity and high level of patience.
* Must be highly self-motivated and directed.
* Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
* Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
* Must be committed to working safely at all times.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Preference given to computer related fields of study.
* 1-2 years of experience working in a Systems Analyst or Systems Administration role supporting enterprise software systems.
* Experience with business process development and improvement.
* Experience in business process improvement methodology and implementation.
* Working knowledge with Microsoft Office

TRAVEL:

Minimal travel may be required. Requires the ability to travel to field locations where environment may vary significantly.
