The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day maintenance and servicing the property, equipment and supporting the events. The facility is growing and expanding it's offerings and needs the right person to see the vision. Our needs are to maintain the areas currently renovated, continue to refine them and build out new areas. Knowledge in various handyman skills, plumbing, electrical, small & large machines, landscaping is required. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own, and will make quick decisions when necessary. It is expected that the Facility Supervisor will be organized, professional, have experience with directing employees, able to maintain & create strict schedules for services and projects. Be able to make projections, set and achieve goals. We're looking for an individual who is capable of working well in an ever-changing, 100% outdoor environment, has a good sense of responsibility and can handle stress effectively. Is organized, trustworthy and looking for a long term growth opportunity in a fast growing business. We would be looking for flexible hours throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities at a facility including but not limited to: cleaning, grounds keeping, large & small machine equipment maintenance, handyman jobs, constructing small projects consisting but not limited to: framing, electrical, plumbing & painting.
- Special Event set up. Providing facility support for the needs of events
- Ability to put together budgets, material lists and appropriate staffing needs for projects on facility
- Ability to order and maintain purchase order logs and receipt keeping
- Ability to organize systems many will need to be created
- Communicating and collaborating with key members of the organization, including but not limited to: directors, executives and special project leaders.
- Supervising employees and making sure tasks are completed.
- Large machine experience a bonus but not required: Current large machines are backhoe / water truck
- Flexible person - no day will be the same. Constant change in projects ability to adjust schedule and focus
- Cleanliness - looking for someone that can see the needs of the facility and keeping it up to facility standards
