Description
Job Summary:
To provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to club members and guests. To display knowledge of menu items, beverages available, club events, and amenities. To restock items as needed and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly, professional greeting to members upon seating
- Distribute menus, if applicable
- Takes beverage and meal orders
- Correctly enters orders and all pertinent information into the POS system and properly closes tickets.
- Serves all ordered items and beverages
- Performs set-up, stocking, clean-up, and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by anticipating and accommodating guests' needs to the best of your abilities.
- Removes plates and glasses from the table as necessary
- Consistently follows all sales and income procedures
- Handles all credit card and member changes as prescribed by the standard operating procedures
- Advises supervisor of complaints if they occur
- Attends pre-shift meetings as required
- Assists with working banquets when required
- Consistently complies with all state local and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
- Perform all other duties assigned.

Physical Requirements
- The nature of this position is physical and requires long periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, reaching, and balancing.
Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
