Job Description
The Maintenance/Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for tenants, guests and businesses in the building. Clean public areas which include sweeping and mopping floors. Heavier areas may include the use of a floor scrubber. Empty trash in all areas and take to main receptacles. Wiping building glass doors and mirrors. Restock all disposables in bathroom and main areas (soap, paper towels, liners, toilet paper). Physical Requirements: Job duties require lots of walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling carts. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Organize custodial closets and spaces
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
