Welcome to High Class Tackle Company! We’re a new outdoor lifestyle start-up based in the Portland area that specializes in custom & unique fishing tackle (lures, blades, spinners, beads, soft plastics, etc.)

We’re looking to bring on our 1st Operations employee that has the ability to wear multiple hats as we continue to scale into the future. This is a killer opportunity to do what you love and to get in at the ground floor at a new local company.

The owners come from successful national CPG brands and have brought years of experience with manufacturing, wholesale, distribution & sales/marketing. The core business has been established leaving an opportunity for the right candidate to come in and run day-to-day operations.

The overall goal of this position is really to help build the company from the ground up with us. Hire new roles as they become needed, build out new department structure, internally level up while doing so. Multiple hats, unique projects, new skills to learn, old skills to use again. A lot of autonomy. It’s really a jack of all trades position.

This will start as part time with the opportunity to move into full-time. Hours are extremely flexible and there will be a good amount of work-from-home time. Compensation will also scale as the business becomes profitable. We want to build a profit sharing model into this role. We’re not a greedy group and want to give back to the people that help us grow.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Order Fulfillment: Work directly with our online platforms (Shopify, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) to prepare and package orders. Take packages to shipping carriers such as USPS or FEDEX for final shipment/delivery. Experience required: general computer knowledge, Microsoft office, google suite, Shopify, Excel
  • Customer service: Work directly with incoming messages via website email or social media to provide customer service regarding questions, comments, returns, refunds, etc.
  • Social Media: Utilize provided photography and wording to make daily posts on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc. Content will be provided.
  • Product Manufacturing/Packaging: Our products are simple to produce and will be taught easily in order to help with back stock fulfillment. Finished product also needs to be placed in packaging. No major manufacturing experience required. Will be required on an as-needed basis (1-2 times monthly).
  • Inventory: Work with programs like Excel or Google Sheets to compile inventory data across platforms and in-house inventory. Spreadsheet experience required.
  • Business Development: Help with admin related duties as the team researches new ideas, communicates with new vendors, orders new material, etc. Help with sending out marketing packages to stores/influencers.
  • Sales: *Currently being built out* Our main goal is to provide a healthy bonus incentive for all orders sold. More details coming soon.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid drivers license & reliable transportation
  • Valid US citizen
  • Bank account for direct deposit

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Beaverton, OR 97006: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
