Equipment Operators

High Country Paving, Inc. is a family-owned company, founded in 2002. We are a reputable company that both contractors and homeowners can depend on. High Country Paving, Inc. is currently expanding our team and we are looking for new team members with the skills to help get our projects done right.

This position is seasonal and full-time. Experience is a plus but not essential to employment. Wage DOE.

Requirements:

• Operate all heavy equipment like skid steers, asphalt rollers, graders, excavators and other related equipment.
• Provide support to successful completion of construction and engineering work
• Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property.
• Ensure and manage the machines or equipment in a safe and secure way.
• Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
• Perform minor repair works during functioning problems
• Inform and advise the management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance
• Drive and control the equipment
• Respond to signals and directions by the staff and work in coordination with them
• Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws.
• Perform other duties, as and when assigned

Other Responsibilities: Adhering to High Country Paving, Inc.’s safety rules and regulations is expected. We provide a drug-free workplace and perform random drug testing. All applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, in the event of being hired.
