Job Posting for Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager at High Ground Insurance Services

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: Assist Account Manager in service of Property & Casualty Accounts AND handle some small business accounts.

Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, employees, carriers, or other information, as appropriate
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist – Gather detail risk/underwriting information
Assist – Select potential placement markets
Assist – Negotiate with company underwriters
Assist – Select markets
Assist - Check company issued policies
Assist - Prepare and issue binders
Assist - Process renewals
Handle some small accounts on their own
Online rating with various insurance company portals
Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance and Evidences of Insurance
Prepare insurance applications
Monitor outstanding quote requests
Prepare and issue Auto ID cards
Run MVRs
Prepare policy endorsements and/or requests
Monitor outstanding endorsement requests
Maintain account files in Agency Management system Applied/TAM
Review suspense on daily basis
Deliver policy package to Account Manager or Producer
Transmit policies to clients in policy binder book, or electronically as directed by Account Manger
Order and send out loss runs as requested
Renewal Certificate projects
Must participate in D.O.I. Continuing Education program
Meet agency guidelines for timely processing of the work
Have the ability to back up and help team with front desk, assisting with certificate projects, helping clear back-log, training new hires and taking on projects at the request of your supervisor.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Preferred
Hold current and valid Property and Casualty Insurance license
Organized, detailed and attention to detail
Has ability to multi-task in complex working environment with accuracy and proficiency
Possess above average computer skills, become proficient in various needed programs, such as TAM and insurance carrier portals
Sitting for extended periods using computer equipment
Adequate mobility and manipulation for service calls
Appropriate business dress
