What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Associate position at High Output?

  • Based in Canton, MA

Join our bustling events team and help us provide exciting A/V and lighting support for all types of events. You will support our team of Account Executives as they deliver creative and engaging experiences for events in the corporate, social, and philanthropic event market space.

You’ll bring your great communication skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and caring attitude. We’ll teach you about the event industry, production equipment (lighting, video & audio), and help you sharpen your problem-solving skills. Some typical tasks that you will tackle:

  • Create and update calendar entries to communicate information about upcoming events to all internal departments

  • Interface with our labor coordinator to ensure that crew resources are allocated to events

  • Coordinate with our dispatch department to ensure that trucking resources are assigned on events

  • Participate in client meetings and take accurate notes of action items

  • Collect client-provided materials and organize by project

  • Follow up with clients for return of contracts, insurance information, and payment information

  • Support Account Executives in brainstorming event solutions

  • Input event equipment needs into our inventory management software

  • When requested, visit event sites/locations to liaise with clients and production teams

  • Assist with other basic office needs when requested

This is a full time, in person position based in our Canton, MA office.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

  • Valid US driver’s license

  • Knowledge of A/V and lighting equipment and concepts is a plus, but is not required

Compensation:

This is a full-time position. Competitive starting salary commensurate with experience. Benefits package offered includes health, dental, paid time off, and 401k.
