- Supervises the assessment center and the Educational Supportive Personnel (ESP) in the assessment program.
- Coordinates the assessment program between central administration and building level.
- Attends district assessment meetings, planning sessions, and workshops.
- Coordinates the administration of state and district level testing programs such as PARCC, and others as they are implemented or substituted.
- Coordinates eighth grade placement test and disseminates results.
- Coordinates, administers, disseminates, and interprets, where applicable, pre-college, college and vocational group and individual) assessment as follows: PSAT, AP, ACT, SAT, ASVAB.
- Provides testing services to transfer students for placement purposes.
- Coordinates other testing and use of interest inventories by classroom teachers and helps teachers analyze and interpret results using district test analysis software.
- Coordinates district and building survey efforts.
- Researches different kinds of assessments based on teacher and/or building need.
- Provides in-service training of staff in assessment and student record keeping.
- Coordinates building test preparation programs.
- Performs other tasks assigned by the Associate Principal.
- High school diploma supplemented by a combination of additional education, training, and related work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and community members.

The Assessment Supervisor has responsibility for supervising the school's assessment program; facilitating the administration of building, district, state, and national assessments; and collecting, interpreting, and distributing assessment data.
