This is your opportunity to join as a founding partner at an innovative vending machine company. The job will grow as the company does. Initially, the job will be part time managing all technical aspects of the product testing, certification, and launch.
The intent of this position is to become full time as the product is fully launched into the market. Additionally, you'll be responsible for product management of the company's website, which will include the back-end management of deployed machines.
You will also be responsible for the building and running of a service and support organization tasked with fulfilling maintenance and support agreements for deployed machines, as such this position with P&L responsibilities.
We're seeking a highly skilled Mandarin-speaking Android Developer who can spearhead the creation of a functional requirements document to improve both the UI and backend software of our vending machines. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role as our liaison in product development efforts overseas, ensuring a seamless connection between our team and partners abroad.
Job Description:
As an Android Developer and International Product Liaison, you will lead the development of functional requirements for enhancing the UI and backend software of our vending machines. In this unique role, you will also serve as a bridge between our company and overseas partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration in international product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to create a comprehensive functional requirements document for UI and backend software improvements for vending machines.
- Develop and maintain Android applications to enhance the vending machine user experience.
- Act as a liaison in product development efforts taking place overseas.
- Facilitate communication between our team and international partners.
- Ensure alignment of project goals, timelines, and deliverables with overseas collaborators.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and software optimization.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Android app development
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written).
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience in creating functional requirements and documentation.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
