Summary:
Estimating coordinators will work under supervision to assist with the development of cost estimates for projects based on work scope, specifications, and contract proposals. The estimating coordinator should be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimating coordinators will work under supervision to assist with the development of cost estimates for projects based on work scope, specifications, and contract proposals. The estimating coordinator should be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates and effectively communicates with colleagues and contractors.
- Assists with pulling specification documents and preparing bid estimates.
- Maintains organization of project information and matrices for all projects.
- Assists with reviewing bid documents and notes any special requirements.
- Organizes research and helps evaluate inventory/suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary labor and materials to meet High Star Traffic standards of price and quality.
- Other projects and initiatives that drive organizational goals and results.

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar discipline preferred
- Some office or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
- Ability to learn how to read technical drawings, maps, and traffic control plans pertaining to layout and installation of material and equipment.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Desire and proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills verbally, in writing, and electronically.
- Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated high level of attention to detail.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new computer software.

- This position will work in an office setting but may travel to off-site locations and therefore require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance which may include dust mask, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, high-visibility safety vest and/or safety pants and/or steel toed footwear. At times client contract driven PPE may also be required.
