Job Description: You will be responsible for providing technical support to students, staff and faculty at one of our High Tech High Charter school campus locations. We are a fast-paced educational environment where teachers and students work on tight deadlines to produce amazing results. Experience and a strong knowledge of working with Windows, Active Directory, Mac OS X, iOS and Google Chromebooks in a multi-user, network environment is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain a network of Windows, Mac OS X, Chrome laptops and workstations in a wired and wireless multi-user environment.
• Manage user accounts via Workgroup Manager, Active Directory and Google Apps
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing desktops, laptops, peripherals and network printers
• Troubleshooting AV equipment (projectors, audio receivers, video and still cameras)
• Maintaining inventory of all computer/electronics equipment
• Educating staff and students about IT policies and equipment/software usage
• Developing procedures and documentation to assist faculty, staff & students to become more proficient with technology
Knowledge and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Active Directory in a large multi-user environment managing hundreds of accounts
• Prior experience working in Education Information Technology preferred
• Excellent writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Apps for Education
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple complex projects, and work under deadlines
• Strong work ethic, team player
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences, staff, faculty and K-12 grade students
• Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• A professional focus on continuous improvement
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
