Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Architect with a strong background in integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications. As the SAP PLM Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and integration of our PLM system with various COTS applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation of our product lifecycle management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. PLM Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the PLM architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
2. COTS Integration: Lead the integration efforts between SAP PLM and other COTS applications, such as ERP, CRM, Quality Management, Safety, Regulatory Information Management (RIM), etc.
3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand PLM and integration requirements.
4. Solution Design: Create detailed technical designs for PLM and integration solutions, considering data flows, APIs, middleware, and scalability.
5. Vendor Evaluation: Assess and select appropriate COTS solutions/vendors for integration, working closely with procurement and IT teams.
6. Technical Expertise: Provide expertise in SAP PLM and COTS integration technologies, including configuration, customization, and development.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of PLM and integrated solutions by defining and executing testing strategies.
8. Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and user guides.
9. Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and challenges related to PLM and COTS integration in a timely manner.
10. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams to ensure smooth adoption of PLM and integrated systems.
11. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, SAP PLM advancements, and emerging integration technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a SAP PLM Architect with a minimum of 2 years in SAP PLM and COTS integration.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PLM modules and their functionalities.
• Strong expertise in integrating SAP PLM with various COTS applications, including ERP, CRM, and Quality Management.
• Proficiency in SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Hands-on experience with middleware, APIs, and data integration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• SAP certification(s) is preferred.
