Koslin & Kahn Oral and Facial Surgery is searching for an exceptional Practice Manager to lead our clinical team in the optimization of managing the day-to-day activities of the practice. Excellent patient care, customer service and operational efficiency are key responsibilities of this position.
The Practice Manager will be responsible for providing objective recommendations for office growth and streamlined processes, focused on team development, patient flow, treatment planning, office systems, and candidate interviews among other duties.
This role is based out of our Hoover office location but will oversee team members at all four practice locations in Hoover, Alabaster, Jasper, and Clanton.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and coach the team to provide an exceptional patient-first experience.
- Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports our Oral Surgeons as they deliver high quality patient care.
- Work within budget guidelines to maintain supported office profitability.
- Provide ongoing feedback, training, and growth to the team to maximize productivity that aligns with our objectives and standards.
- Ensure relationships with referring dentists are managed effectively.
- Complete daily/monthly reports in preparation of monthly month-end close.
- Perform team meetings and annual performance reviews.
- Maintain protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
- Work directly with Human Resources in interviewing for office and clinical level positions.
- Track employee attendance/absences and reports appropriately.
- Manage front desk operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients.
- Ensure the office is well organized.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of dental experience/knowledge; oral surgery experience is highly preferred.
- Prior Practice Manager experience is preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, or related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and writtten communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, and reliable.
- Demonstrated people management experience; ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oral Surgery Practice Software.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
