The Practice Support Manager (PSM) position is responsible for (a) ensuring consistency and quality in the delivery of HighFive’s supporting services and (b) assisting in the development and execution of long-term strategies to improve patient outcomes and drive growth in our Oral Surgery (OMFS) partner practices. This position will manage a practice support team whose primary responsibility is the daily delivery of HighFive’s support services, while also working closely with the group Vice President to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives aimed at constantly improving HighFive’s value proposition to our partners.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clinic Practice Managers to ensure unwavering partner satisfaction and strong alignment on practice goals.
  • Uses prior experience managing an oral surgery practice to effectively prioritize practice requests and ensure the delivery of supporting services in the most efficient and consistent manner each day.
  • Uses knowledge of scheduling, patient flow, staffing models, and best practices in billing and collections to develop and deploy value creation initiatives at partner practices that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Uses knowledge of oral surgery practice management to consistently refine HighFive’s support methods to ensure the highest impact and lowest disruption possible in delivery of our supporting services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 5 years of working in an Oral Surgery practice setting, preferably in an office manager role.
  • Experience and knowledge of WinOMS, OMSvision, and/or DSN practice management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to clearly communicate issues, problems, and solutions to doctors, practice staff, and HighFive team.
  • Excellent skills in managing competing priorities and a strong attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a busy, fast paced, and ever-growing environment.
  • Willing and able to travel to meet practice needs.
  • Experience innovating and executing on practice strategies, processes, technologies and change management activities to improve top and bottom-line performance.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to lead by example to deliver set tasks, objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
