General Laborer

Northeast Power Dry is hiring a Technician for a full-time position.

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of eliminating property damage and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Restoration Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities:  

• Handle any issues caused by water or mold damage and remove and replace damaged materials 

• Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property 

• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of 

• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers 

• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image 

• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies  

• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet 

Qualifications:  

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more 

• High school diploma or equivalent required 

• Valid driver’s license  

• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays 

• Ability to communicate accurately, great listening skills, and a positive attitude 

• Background in plumbing, demolition, water mitigation, and/or carpentry is a plus but not required
