Highland Engineering, Inc. (HEI) was founded in 1986 – and has become one of the leading small business suppliers of Ground Support Equipment to the DoD. Our emphasis has always been on solving the needs of our customers. Highland is an employee owned company and the average tenure of a Highland Employee is more than 10 years.

Highland is looking for a full time Electrical Technician. The successful candidate will have mechanical aptitude, understand schematics, use power and hand tools, testing and measuring devices and shop equipment.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Must have basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Be able to carry out assigned tasks with minimum direct supervision
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Other Qualifications a Plus:

  • Experience with conduit installations
  • Experience with control panel layouts and electrical components
  • Must be familiar with single phase and 3 phase systems

Days: Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime.

Pay based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
