Graphic Designers at Highlights for Children are part of an internal creative team responsible for crafting exceptional brand experiences. They are highly creative and can balance storytelling with promotion. They produce work that is aligned to brand standards yet is innovative and customer focused. This Designer will create on-brand marketing promotional materials and assets by taking seasonal, launch and promotional concepts through to execution. They support the Art Directors and Senior Designers by delivering digital assets for site, paid media and email as well as customer-facing print materials.
Core Responsibilities
Design promotional marketing materials that meet project goals for multi-channel execution
Creative concept within a framework
Motion graphics and light video editing
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to present their work to creative leadership
Stay current with design trends and advances in technology best practices
Setting priorities and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within the creative team and with cross-functional partners.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Graphic Design or Web Design.
1-3 years professional graphic design and marketing experience
Expert experience with Adobe Creative Suite and industry standard design tools.
Able to design for multiple channels including digital and print
Working knowledge with HTML/CSS
Strong attention to detail
Email marketing experience utilizing Klaviyo a plus
Experience in WorkFront project management tool a plus
