Big Picture School is seeking an SEL Specialist to work closely with the 6-8 advisor team to support SEL and academic development in Big Picture’s middle school program, including helping to develop the vision for this program. The role will involve direct supervision of middle school advisories/classes, coordinating and co-leading field-based learning experiences, and emotional regulation and de-escalation support across 6-8 grade levels. Preferred qualifications include middle school teaching experience prioritizing student interests, strong collaboration skills, and leadership experience with teams of educators.
