We are in need of a Facility Van Driver.
Salary: $17-$19 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Driving van to transport residents to and from appointments.
- follows transport policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of residents at all times.
- Maintains accurate documentation on daily transport log.
- Performs daily maintenance checks of vehicles, including brakes, tires, exhaust, and suspension. Maintains logs of these checks.
- Ensure proper use of seatbelts and locking of wheelchairs when the van is in use.
- Attend all required in-services.
- Actively participate in teamwork, individualized care, respect, and professionalism.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and general interest in work.
- Able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 45 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Driving van to transport agency staff to and from designated areas.

Requirements
- NY State Driver's license with excellent driving record.
- Patience and desire to work with nursing home residents.
- COVID-19 vaccination required
