The Role
This is multi-functional program support role on the NNS Additive Manufacturing Team. The individual selected will provide project management leadership/support, cost/schedule AOR's, production schedule, business case assessments, production scheduling roles, and interactions with our supply chain.
The Responsibilities For This Role Include
Working with NNS make-buy roles for AM technologies and production integration
Procedural development, oversight, and compliance
Project management functions and support
Sharepoint Functionality and reporting
SAP worklfow integration
Interface with internal and external customers
Cost/Schedule AOR's
Other duties as assigned for the production integration and project management of this AOR
Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience

- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
- High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- Strong leadership and management skills essential to the development and management of projects, production scheduling, cost/schedule/finances within the team, planning functions/business case analysis, and program reporting functions (e.g., reports, presentations, etc.
- The preferred candidate should have strong project management skills and business acumen.
- The preferred candidate should have problem solving and decision making abilities
- The ability to collaborate with management, engineers, and other staff to produce AM parts
- Should have effective time management skills. Have the ability to manage projects and prioritize work effectively to support end product needs
- The ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- The ability to communicate effectively and provide oversight to other manufacturing and technical functions within the E66 team.
- Should have functional knowledge and capability to use MS office tools (e.g., word, excel, etc.).
