Summary
HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to support our client, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.
This position can be worked 100% remotely.
What you will do
- Install ServiceNow instance core setup, configuration, and customizations
- Contribute to roadmap and strategy presentations that align to organizational goals and resources
- Participate in the full SDLC requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, training, and operational support using agile methodologies
- Work with process owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements within ServiceNow, propose resolution and design suggestions, and update workflow tasks and approvals for automated processes
- Design, develop and deliver solutions to enhance IT service requests in Service Request Management module by developing JavaScript programs and workflows
- Demonstrate working knowledge in Java Scripting and web technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP)
- Provide timely support in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow Platform and any performance issues reported
- Design and configure IT, Customer, and Employee workflows for multiple type of changes as per the Change Advisory Board requirements as part of the Change Management modules
- Configure email notifications and alerts to notify users about specific activities in the system
- Develop probes and sensors to update the CMDB through ServiceNow Discovery
- Develop User Interfaces - Configure and maintain Forms, Lists, Views, UI Policy, UI Scripts, UI Actions, View Rules, Welcome Page Content, Map Pages, and other UI elements for ServiceNow modules
- Perform environmental promotional activities from development to stage and test
- Create monthly metric reports for IT management teams for monitoring the performance of various support teams and assist with scheduling data exports to application owners
- Manage data within ServiceNow tables, CMDB import sets, Discovery tools, Users, Groups, and roles
- Suggest best practices of ServiceNow and ITIL processes across various business groups
- Automate maintenance of the service catalog and Request Workflow design and configuration
What you must have
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- Experience with the following:
- ITSM Tools: ServiceNow (ITSM) Development & Implementation
- Scripting: JavaScript, jQuery
- Languages: Java, HTML
- Database: DB2, Oracle, MYSQL
Bonus points for
- Masters degree with 12 years generalized experience and 9 years specialized experience (or additional experience in lieu of degree)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v4 or v3 foundations)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ServiceNow
