Job description
Hiland Dairy is accepting applications for a Class A CDL Driver to join our team. We are seeking experienced, motivated drivers .
Our drivers are home daily and we offer an excellent benefit package that includes health, dental, vision and life insurance, and paid time off!
The successful Hostler will :
- Maneuver trailers from case dock to load out dock to parking lot
- Maintain fuel and monitor temperatures for all trailers on lot
- Maintain and complete all required paperwork
- Follow DOT rules and regulations
- Complete any other duty that may be assigned
This position requires the following :
- Must have Class A CDL
- Must have experience backing and maneuvering 53' trailers in close areas
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of up to 1000 pounds
- Ability to pass the D.O.T. physical and drug screen
- The prospective driver's electronic consent on the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse website will be required as part of the application process.
- High school diploma or GED
THIS IS A RELIEF POSITION. SCHEDULING WILL BE MON & TUE STARTING AT 5PM, OFF WED & THURS, FRI & SATURDAY STARTING AT 5AM (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
