Overview: The Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of equipment in a shop or field environment while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity.

- Must be able to work one-on-one with customers and drivers, both in person and over the phone.

- Must be able to read and write and have the mental capacity to complete required paperwork and records.
Work Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation. – CDL Class A Preferred
- Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
- Must have the ability to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
- Must become proficient with the in-house business system and other vendor’s software as required to determine needed parts.
- Must be able to frequently perform lifting and carrying of vehicle components, parts, and hand tools weighing up to 50 pounds, up to waist level.
- Must occasionally lift vehicle components / parts weighing up to 150 pounds, with assistance from co-workers.
- Must be able to complete tasks that may require bending and heavy lifting.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to withstand working in various conditions including cold and heat, and indoor/outdoor settings.

Overview: The Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of equipment in a shop or field environment while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity.
Job Duties:
- Works independently with little to no supervision at times.
- Install, replace, re-build or repair the parts and/or equipment in a timely manner and according to specifications.
- Test the part or equipment and perform quality check after work is complete.
- Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.
- Develops and manages positive, beneficial relationships with fellow employees and suppliers of equipment, service, parts, and supplies.
- Monitors and oversees condition, organization, safety and cleanliness of the service truck.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assists in monitoring and reporting the state of equipment in the field.
- Coordinates with Shop Manager in scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Authorizes or assists in scheduling dealer, shop, and field repairs ensuring warranties are applied.
- Other duties as assigned.
