Hilco Vision is searching for an Operations Cost Analyst to join our Finance Team! The Operations Cost Analyst will be responsible for the tracking, auditing, and analysis of key operations metrics including cost development/audit, manufacturing variance analysis, product gross profit variance, freight costs and metrics, as well as manufacturing KPI reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with our operations, manufacturing and engineering teams to analyze costs, establish annual budgets and monthly forecasts for spending and inventories.

A Little Bit About You:
- You have a BS degree in finance or a related field, paired with 4 – 6 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing or operations capacity.
- You possess cost accounting experience related to standard costs development and costing variance analysis.
- You have working knowledge in a major ERP system, Infor M3 is highly preferable.
- An excellent communicator, you are comfortable presenting in front of leadership groups and are able to communicate to employees at all levels.
- You have a strong desire to continuously improve processes using strong problem-solving skills.
- Intellectually curious, you seek to understand core business strategies and processes.
- You pay great attention to detail and can self-audit, but know when to ask for a second set of eyes.
The Nitty Gritty:
- Work closely with our operations, manufacturing, and engineering teams to establish, audit and analyze Infor M3 system costs, establish daily KPI, weekly and monthly variance reporting for both spending and inventories.
- Analyze and review Cost of Goods Sold including Cost Center analysis, variance analysis and forecasts for all categories of cost of sales.
- Validate cost/margin assumptions in Sales team new business programs when appropriate.
- Review monthly inventory levels to maintain the proper Excess & Obsolescence reserve levels.
- Inventory Control reporting for inventory on-hand adjustments and monitoring aged inventory, pharmaceutical lot control, serialization controls and days inventory supply on-hand levels.
- Freight accounting, audit and inbound and outbound freight metrics including customer freight income.
- Assist Accounting during month end closing, root cause analysis and planning forecast variance analysis.
