Hill International is seeking a Sr Scheduler in Los Angeles, California
- Performs complex reviews and analysis of contractor's schedules for contract compliance, writes and reviews comments, updates staff on contractor's performance, evaluates time impacts.
- Review project schedule submittals by Design and Contractor Teams
- Perform independent analysis of submitted schedules for Owner
- Facilitate coordination on interface issues between multiple projects
- Identify, understand and apply the relevant sections of the contract to each claim
- Assist with change order and claims dispute
- 10 years or more of scheduling experience with 5 plus years in direct support of an active construction project.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Relevant Professional Licensure & Certifications are strongly preferred.
- Requires advanced use of Oracle Primavera Software, along with related software tools such as Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project, Claims Digger, etc.
- Demonstrated experience completing forensic schedule analyses of the design and construction of large-scale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects, particularly for assessment of delay claims and potential owner's liabilities
- Demonstrated experience scheduling for multiple concurrent and interrelated projects
- Demonstrated experience in probabilistic scheduling and project/program schedule risk analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and schedule related information in oral and written form to non-expert audiences
- Hands-on experience with creating dashboards and graphic reports for program/projects progress and performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other subject matter experts and resources to support owner's evaluation of claims
- Prior experience in aviation and large transportation projects, is highly desirable
- Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$155,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
