Experienced Travel Agent

Hill’s Travel Service, Inc. is looking for professional travel agents for our Tampa Bay office. Bring your GDS booking experience to our prestigious company for our leisure and corporate clients. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work under the direction of the senior travel manager
• Research trip components for cruises, air, hotels, land packages, and tours
• Book air tickets, car rentals, hotel stays in GDS software. Sabre experience preferred
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and coworkers
• Enter client profiles, trips, and invoices in client management software. Keep database updated. Client Base knowledge preferred.
• Assist with cruise, visa, and passport documentation
• Assemble final trip documents and itineraries. Umapped experience preferred.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
• Handle any changes or cancellations to travel plans in a timely and efficient manner
• Stay informed about travel regulations, visa requirements, and health advisories for various destinations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients

REQUIREMENTS

• GDS, minimum 1 year experience. Sabre preferred or willing to learn
• Cruise and Tour Booking Experience – minimum 1 year
• Must be willing to work in the office Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and/or weekend corporate account work at home required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; pleasant interactions with vendors, clients, and coworkers
• Highly organized with attention to detail. Can work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Pay: From $42,500.00 per year
